Post 7: My favorite book

I love to read fantasy and science fiction, but specially fantasy. My favorite author is Brandon Sanderson. Nowadays, he is considered like the second Tolkien, because of the revolution that he is doing in the fantasy genre. He puts a lot of details in his book, a lot of world building and also a lot of good characters. Beside that, all their books happen in different planets of the same universe called "Cosmere", so all their books are connected in some way. The only problem with this guy is that their books have around 1000-1500 pages, so it can be hard for someone who has not the habit of reading big books. Maybe another problem is that his main saga has 10 books! good luck if you want to read all of them.
About my favorite book, i love "La Tregua" because of the meaning that it has to me. It relates the story of an oldman who is closed to retire, and from one day to another he fall in love with a girl from his job. I can't tell more, just that you have to read it! My favorite saga is "The Stormlight Archive". I can't tell too much because it is too much information to resume it in a few lines. Just read the first book and you will not stop until you finish the last one.
The last book i've read is "Harry potter and the order of the phoenix". I can say that it is my favorite Harry Potter book by now (i haven't read the six and the seven), so i recommend you to read it. Actually, read all the saga. It is better than movies.
Reading can help you a lot to disconnect from the reality, and enter to amazing worlds and stories. I can't stop recommend you to read at least a bit everyday. It can be hard because we have to read a lot for the university, but it's not impossible! And also you can improve your reading skills, so it can help you to study better.
woow 100 pages ! it sounds pretty fun "La Tregua" i'm gonna see if i can read it
ResponderEliminarWow, if Harry Potter is better in books than movies I think that I will consider doing that
ResponderEliminarIt takes you a lot time travelling to the university, that is a great way to spend some time and it seems you know a lot about books.
