Practice post - Personal information on internet

There has been a lot of controversy about how safe is to us to give our personal information on websites like Facebook, Twitter, or any other social network. In my opinion, we have to be responsable as users of this sites, and read the privacy politics of each website we are visiting to be more informated about what information are we sharing, and how our information can be used by this websites. By doing that, we can put our own limits about what we want to post and how much we will be exposed on the internet. Personally, I just post specific moments of my life on the internet or hobbies that i would like to share whit someone else. Any other personal information like my address, phone number, or the location where the post was written, or information about my family, i prefer to let it away from the internet. Posting to much information on a public site like a social network can be dangerous because of the exposition that we are having to other people. You don't know what kind of person will see your profile. Maybe i'm being too paranoid, but it's better to prevent this situations than have to deal with any trouble later. That's why i like so much instagram, because in that social network you can choose the information that you want to share, and it is very adaptable to each user's preferences.

Nowadays is easier than ever to be informated about how our information is used by this websites, and because of the big trouble that facebook had with the government of the United States, the other companys are more concerned on giving this information in an easiest way to the users. Away from that, is our responsability to be concerned about what are we doing and what are we sharing on the internet.
